It's hard to upgrade the old device

we got a few switches which had been end of service for a few years, a new version is required for these switches to get a problem solved. But we cannot find that firmware on the support website. We have to contact the TAC to get the firmware, but they require us for the contract number. What if I cannot find that number, how could I get the firmware? I think this is unreasonable, the old version firmware should be provided on the support site.

Hi,
thanks for your feedback.
I think the very few users requires these firmware, in which scenario the old version softwares downloading page are canceled.

Hi,

As the version is end of services which mean the version will be take down from the support website, this is because to prevent user from download on the old version which already end of service.

For contract number, if you do not know where to find. You can check on your switches Serial Number. Once you get the Serial Number, please feedback to TAC. TAC will check on the related contract number where it is under which contract service and what is the status of that contract.
