Issue that standalone GK Fails to Come Online

【Issue Description】

When the IP address of a standalone GK changes (from A to B), the standalone GK fails to come online on the SMC and you cannot use it for conferencing.

Possible Causes

After the IP address change, the standalone GK's IP address set on the SMC is still the original IP address (A). This is incorrect, and the GK IP address must be changed to the new IP address (B) on the SMC.

Troubleshooting Procedure

1. Access the standalone GK's installation path (D: \Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd\Switch System\SwitchCentre\ by default).
2. Open the gkcfg.ini configuration file using the text editor.
3. Change the values of the following parameters to the GK's new IP address (B in this example) and save the change.

   IP-Management 

    Service-address

4. Log in to the SMC web interface.
5. Choose Devices>GK.
6. In the displayed GK list, select the standalone GK and click Edit GK.
7. In the displayed dialog box, change the IP address value to the new IP address (B in this example) and click Save.
8. On the standalone GK's server, choose Start>Administrative Tools>Server Manager>Configuration>Services.
9. Right-click HUAWEI SMC 2.0 SwitchCentre.
10. From the shortcut menu, choose Restart.
11. Access the GK list on the SMC and check whether the standalone GK is available.
