I am required to connect two routers through GE 1/0/0 connection. But there is no GE 1/0/0 connection in any router. How can I connection them through the required connection? Thank You

Hi,

By default, no card is added to the device in the eNSP. All interfaces are numbered 0/0/X. To use G1/0/0, you need to right-click the device icon before starting the device to add cards.

As shown in the following figure, after the card is added to the AR1220, G1/0/0 can be used.

The GE0/0/1 interface and the GE1/0/0 interface function the same, except for the difference in naming rules.

Hi,

Do you mean Gig 0/0/1? As last digit represents the port number and 2 digit represents the slot number and 1st digit reprsents the card blade/service slot number.

In the Assignment question the wire is GE 1/0/0 and not GE 0/0/1 and that's the problem that I can't find GE 1/0/0 anywhere. Kindly help me.

It might be the naming convention. Try connecting on G0/0/1
