Hello,

Let's handle this as a totally hypothetical situation.

Let's say a new S5700 Switch is implemented.

Once the configuration is complete, someone forgets to save the configuration.

As a result, all configurations are lost due to a power failure at night.

Is there any way to restore the configuration?

Thanks for your comments, I hope that if you can, of course, everything as a totally hypothetical situation.

Hi wissal,
In the V200R010 and later versions, the function of backing up the current configuration file is enabled by default. And the local storage path is $_backup/running_config/. After the configuration changes for two hours, the device automatically backs up the current running configuration to the local directory.  If the device configuration is lost, you can use the backup file in this path to restore the configuration.

You can use the configuration copy file to running command to executes commands in a specified configuration file.

I don't think there is a way to recover the Lost configurations if it was not saved. But if a switch bis added as a leaf in a spine-leaf manner, core can push configurations to leaf without any hassle.

An other way would be to use following link if in past configuration was saved but somehow switch stopped responding:
