Is JAVA required for Ultrapath

Hi,


I have a customer who has installed  the UltraPath application on a Windows 2016 server.


Unfortunately, the customer is not able to start the Ultrapath Console, but the CLI command works fine.


 Can anybody confirm,if  JAVA needs to be installed on the Windows server?


I cannot find any clues in the documentation.

Dear HenkSnel,
Please check the Environment Requirements of Ultrapath 21.5 installation. 

Run the cmd command to open the CLI. Run the upadm check status command to check whether UltraPath takes effect. 

If Checking environment and config in the command output does not pass the check, check whether UltraPath is installed as instructed in Installing UltraPath for Windows. If the check still fails, UltraPath does not take effect or the environment is abnormal. In this case, contact Huawei technical support.

Thanks for your explanation. But do you need to install java SDK in order to be able to start the GUI console?

The Ultrapath version in concern is 21.5..0.
