Is it possible to configure Huawei router(NE 40X2-M8, 40E-X8, 40E-16A, 8000E-M8, ATN 950) without CLI? if yes; how? except U2000/NCE what is required ?

Because these routers do not have web configuration, only the CLI can be used to configure the device. In addition to NCE and U2000 management, eSight can also be used for management.

CLI is always recommended for Configuring Datacom Routers ( as the critical configuration is being done on it, a dependency is very high), Another reason is using CLI to activate all configuration changes at once, well GUI takes time to go through one by one!


Basic Management and configuration can be done via NCE, U200.
