Is it OVA supported by FusionSphere?

Hello, 

I got a question, I need to deploy a VM on FusionSphere, but not sure if OVA format is supported, if not, is there any tool to convert the tamplate?


Inside the template there is a vmdk file, I now is not supported, but once packed in the OVA file, will I be able to deploy the VM?

Do you mean that you want to deploy the VM on FusionSphere by importing the OVA file?


If that, the answer is yes.


You can import the file type included OVF, OVA, or QCOW2.

Yes, I know OVA files are supported, but then I saw on the documentation, .vmdk files are not suported, and it happens that inside the OVA, there's a vmdk file, I just wanted to cross check, anyway, I'll find out tomorrow trying to import the VM. Thanks

As my experienced I converted .vmdk file to QCOW2 first then I deploy it on FusionSphere

I did not extract the OVA file.
