Is Huawei Equipment trustworthy

I work since more than 20 years as a trainer for the IT industry, also as HCDP / HCDA. This year I have been often asked about the trustworthy of Huawei network equipment. Sometimes people are afraid that the network elements from Huawei may capture sensitive data and send it out via tricky and hidden methods.

I think Huawei should write and publish a kind of white paper to clarify this questions.
