Applicable Models:
All IPC models.

Symptom:

After you access the web page of an IPC on a PC running Windows 7 Professional to view live video, the message "Failed to initialize the play control" is displayed.

Handling Process

Step 1 Close all open Internet Explorer windows.

Step 2 Right-click the Internet Explorer shortcut icon on the desktop and choose Run as administrator.

Step 3 Check whether the fault is rectified.

If yes, no further operation is required.
If no, contact your service provider for assistance.
