IP phone Vlan automatically change to 0 issue

Issue Description

when customer config the 7910 phone Vlan is 1, after about 20s, the Vlan value automatically change to 0

Alarm Information

none

Handling Process

if ip phone start the LLDP-MEM function, but the connected switch can not support this function. the issue will happen.

so if both iphone and connected switch support LLDP-MEM function, we can config phone Vlan. if switch can not support LLDP-MEM, please close ip phone LLDP-MEM, config Vlan manually.

Root Cause

Solution

if ip phone start the LLDP-MEM function, but the connected switch can not support this function. the issue will happen.

so if both iphone and connected switch support LLDP-MEM function, we can config phone Vlan. if switch can not support LLDP-MEM, please close ip phone LLDP-MEM, config Vlan manually.
