I would like to ask if what is IPoxWDM, what will be its advantage in terms of secuirity and transport technology? I have limited knowledge on this solution but I am very interested to learn this.

IP over xWDM(DWDM/CWDM)

IP over xWDM is a simple and straightforward architecture. It replaces traditional circuit-switched ATM and SDH electrical switching and multiplexing devices with high-performance routers and is directly connected to xWDM fibers through OADM, OXC, or xWDM couplers. These devices control wavelength access, switching, routing, and protection. IP over xWDM is a real data link network. You can use specified wavelengths for bypass or straight-through connections. The service functions of the network are implemented only at the IP layer.
