Today, I would like to introduce you to the operating system of Huawei devices.
Objetive
The purpose of this post is to introduce you to Huawei's VRP and login methods.
Login Methods
Huawei switches offer two ways to access the management interface, they are command line access (CLI) and browser access (WEB).
Access via CLI is performed by programs such as Putty, telnet, Tera Term, etc.
Below is the example image of the CLI:
Console access is via DB9 to RJ45 cable using the same CLI commands.
Login authentication
Username:admin
Password:
<HUAWEI>
Access via the WEB is carried out by programs such as IE, Chrome, FireFox, Opera, etc.
The recommended protocol for accessing the WEB is HTTPS due to its security, however it is possible to use HTTP.
