3900 Series Base Stations
Based on customer-centric innovations, Huawei developed 3900 series base stations, which are designed based on a high-performance platform and use an optimized hardware and software architecture.
By the newly designed modules(the Baseband Unit and RF Unit) and auxiliary devices can be flexibly combined and configured, different types of base stations can be used in various scenarios to achieve fast deployment and low operating expenditure (OPEX).

Product Type | Site Type | Application Scenario |
Macro Base Station | BTS3900 | Indoor Macro BTS, maximum of 6 RFUs and 1 BBUs installing integrated. |
BTS3900L | Indoor Macro BTS, large-capacity scenario, maximum of 12 RFUs and 2 BBUs installing integrated.
BTS3900A | Outdoor Macro BTS, maximum of 6 RFUs and 1 BBUs installing integrated.
BTS3900AL | Outdoor Macro BTS, large-capacity scenario, maximum of 9 RFUs and 2 BBUs installing integrated.
BTS3900C | Mini outdoor base station,BBU and RRU installing integrated, applies to hot spots, tunnels, and borders.
Distributed Base Station | DBS3900 | BBU and RRU installing distributed indoor or outdoor. The BBU is characterized by its small footprint, easy installation, and low power consumption. Therefore, the BBU can be easily installed in a spare space at an existing site. The RRU is also compact and light. It can be installed close to an antenna to reduce feeder loss and to improve system coverage. |
3800 Series Base Stations
3800 series base stations are earlier-generation NodeB, will be gradually phased out.

Micro Base Stations
Micro seriesbase stations feature compact size and light weight, and support plug and play and automatic deployment. Please refer the detail information by Micro Base Station Basics.
