Intra-frequency vs inter-frequency

Intra-frequency means that the transmit and receive signals use the same frequency, and inter-frequency means that the transmit and receive signals use different frequencies.

Intra-frequency and inter-frequency have different advantages.

●Intra-frequency can use fewer frequency resources for bidirectional communication.

●Inter-frequency transmission and reception use different frequency resources. Therefore, the interference between inter-frequency transmission and reception is small, and the transmission and reception are easy to control.

During intra-frequency communication, time division multiplexing may be used, that is, sending and receiving in different time periods are specified. Compared with LTE-TDD in 4G, time-division multiplexing is used.
