Possible cause

  • The network is abnormal.
  • The silence suppression function is enabled.

Solution

  1. Check whether the network connection is normal and whether the delay and packet loss exist on the network.
  2. Run the LST MSUCNFPARA command to check whether the comfort noise generation (CNG) function is disabled.

If the CNG function is enabled, run the SET MSUCNFPARA command to set Comfort noise generator switch to OFF.

  3. Run the SET RESPARA command to adjust parameters and check whether the call quality is affected.
  4. If the fault persists, collect detailed fault information and related logs, and submit them to the service provider.
