Hello, everyone!

Interleaved mode:

This mode can solve the burst noise and has a good capability of correction capability  and the longer the delay is. Therefore, the interleaved mode applies to the delay-insensitive service that requires low reliability. <?xml:namespace prefix = "o" ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" />

Interleaved depth VS delay

The interleaved depth refers to the longitudinal depth of the interleaver, namely several code words are interleaved at a time. The interleaved delay is what represented directly after the interleaved processing. Besides the interleaved delay, to configure an interleaver, calculate the interleaved depth inside based on rate and length of code words. The delay depends on the interleaved depth , length of code and line rate.

Thanks.
