Installing the SMC on a Non-D Drive

322 0 3 0 0

Symptom

The default SMC installation directory is drive D. The customer wants to install the SMC in another drive.

Solution

If you want to install the SMC2.0 in drive E, but the default SMC2.0 installation directory is drive D, change the drive letter of drive D to another drive letter, for example, drive F, and then run the SMC2.0 installation script. The SMC2.0 detects that drive D does not exist and prompts you to customize the SMC2.0 installation directory.

Change the drive letter in the Windows operating system and go to the disk management page.

If you need to install the software to drive F, enter E:\Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. (without quotation marks).

The SMC is installed in the directory of drive E.
