Procedure

Connect the antennas to the antenna connectors on the rear panel. See Figure 1.

Adjust positions of the antennas to obtain the optimal wireless transmission and receiving performance.

3G antenna placement
- If the router is placed on a desk, make the antenna in the primary interface (right side of the rear panel) vertical to the desk and the antenna in the secondary interface (left side of the rear panel) parallel with the desk. See Figure 2.
- If the router is mounted on a wall, make the antenna in the primary interface parallel (right side of the rear panel) with the wall and the antenna in the secondary interface (left side of the rear panel) vertical to the wall. See Figure 3.

If the router is installed in a cabinet, you are advised to install a 3G remote antenna instead of the 3G whip antennas on the router. Install the 3G remote antenna in the primary antenna interface (right side of the rear panel). It is recommended that you place the 3G remote antenna at the top of the cabinet, vertical to the ground, as shown in Figure 4.
