Installing a router (4) -----Connecting the Ground Cable

Procedure

1. Wear an ESD wrist strap. Ensure that the ESD wrist strap is grounded and in a close contact with your wrist.
2. Remove the M4 screw from the ground point on the router.

   The ground point is located at the right of the rear panel. Rotate the Phillips screwdriver counterclockwise to loosen the M4 screw, as shown in Figure 1. Keep the M4 screw for later use.

3. Connect the ground cable.

   Use the M4 screw you just removed to fix the M4 lug of the ground cable to the ground point on the router, and use the M6 screw to fix the M6 lug of the ground cable to the equipotential terminal on the cabinet. See Figure 2.
