Installing a Power Module

Only the AR2240 and AR3260 can use a pluggable power module. By default, a pluggable power module has been installed in the power slot of the AR2240 or AR3260, and you do not need to install the power module

Procedure

1. Wear an ESD wrist strap. Ensure that the ESD wrist strap is grounded and in a close contact with your wrist.
2. Loosen the captive screw on the filler panel to remove the filler panel.
3. Rotate the ejector levers on the 350 W AC power module outward and slide the power module into the slot horizontally along the guide rails until the power module is completely attached to the chassis. See Figure 1.

4. Rotate the ejector levers inward to lock the power module in the slot and then tighten the captive screws on both sides See Figure 2.
