Diagnostic
The system asks you to install the .NET Framework 4.0 during the installation of an IVS client (C/S client or web client); however, in Control Panel, the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile has been installed.
Possible Cause
The .NET Framework 4.0 is not installed properly.
Procedure
1. Uninstall the .NET Framework 4 Client Profile.
a) choose Start > Control Panel.
b) In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.
c) In Currently installed programs, select .NET Framework 4 Client Profile and click Remove to uninstall the program.
2. Re-install the .NET Framework 4.0. Verify that the following programs have been installed:
.NET Framework 4 Client Profile
.NET Framework 4 Extended
3. Check whether the fault is rectified.
If the fault is rectified, no further action is required. If the fault persists, contact Huawei technical support engineers.
