This section describes how to install and set Smart Dongle on SUN2000 3-20KTL-M0 inverters.
Smart Dongle communication option:
Note: SUN2000 3-20KTL-M0 should have the firmware version V100R001C00SPC118 or later in order to detect the Smart Dongle WLAN-FE
1. Download and install the FusionSolar APP
Search for FusionSolar in one of the following app stores, download the installation package and install the FusionSolar App by following the instructions.
• Play Store (Android)
• App Store (iOS)
• Huawei App Store (Android)
2. Install the Smart Dongle on inverter
In case of the Smart Dongle 4G check the instruction how to install the 4G SIM card before connect on inverter.
Opens the USB port and installs the Smart Dongle:
3. Connect on the inverter WiFi
Disable the data mobile from your phone and enable the WiFi. Choose form your WiFi list the SUN2000-……SN and connect with the default password Changeme
4. Login on inverter with FusionSolar APP
Open FusionSolar APP on your phone and from the main page choose HelpàDevice commissioningàConnectàScan the QR code or chosse manually and select the inverter from the listàLogin with the default password 00000a.
5. Smart Dongle WLAN-FE settings
After you login on inverter choose from main page Quick Settings and perform the below steps to set the inverter:
5.1 Set the grid code and choose Next
5.2 Check the Dongle status (green status) and add the power meter if you install one and choose Next
5.3 Check if the Domain name is: intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com and set the local WiFi and the password and choose Next
5.4 Check if the connection with the router management system is ok and choose Finish
6. Smart Dongle 4G settings
After you login on inverter choose from main page Quick Settings and perform the below steps to set the inverter:
6.1 Set the grid code and choose Next
6.2 Check the Dongle status (green status) and add the power meter if you install one and choose Next
6.3 Check if the Domain name is: intl.fusionsolar.huawei.com, set APN Mode to Automatic and choose Next
6.4 If the connection failed return and set the APN Mode to Manually and set the connection details received from operator and choose Next
6.5 Check if the connection with the router management system is ok and choose finish
Note: If the Smart Dongle is not prezent in the step two of the Quick Settings (WLAN-FE or 4G) check if the Dongle is properly connected in USB port and the LED status.
After you perform the Quick Settings you can create account and plant on FusionSolar monitoring portal.
