Prerequisites
- You have obtained the client's sending and receiving mailbox.
- You have configured SMTP (Simple Mail Transfer Protocol) server and obtained the corresponding IP addresses or domain name.
- You have configured the SVP system management port IP addresses.
Procedure
- Log in to SVP.

Log in to the Cloud Service.
The New Install Wizard page is displayed.
NOTE:
You can click Help Document in the Welcome page to get help information which will guide you through the configuration initialization operation.
- Click Next to configure customer information.

Click Next to add devices which are prepared to be inspected through tool.

Click Add Device.
The Add device dialog box is displayed.
- Select Storage Device in Device Type.
- In the Add Policy area, select Specify IP Address (add a device by the IP address) and enter the SVP system management port IP address.

Click Next, enter the user name and password. Then set the port number as 22.
NOTE:
- The user name and password are the admin account and the corresponding password to log in to DeviceManager management software. The default user name and password of the DeviceManager are admin and Admin@storage respectively.
- You are advised to change the default login password immediately after you have logged in to the storage system for the first time and periodically change your login password in the future. This reduces the password leakage risks. For details about how to modify the password, see Modifying Login Password.
- If you have initialized the Cloud Service and changed the logging admin account and password of the DeviceManager management software, please follow the configuration: select related devices in the System tab and click Modify to synchronized password changes.

Select Debug mode and enter Debug Password.
NOTE:
- The default Debug Password of the storage system is debug@storage.
- If the Cloud Service tool has been initialized and the Debug Password has been changed, click the System tab on the Cloud Service tool and click Modify to update the password so that the tool can work properly.
- Click Finish. You have add devices successfully.

Click Add Device.

Click Next to set the email notification function.
NOTICE:
To ensure that the equipment management personnel can receive the equipment alarm information and equipment inspection report timely, please configure the client email information properly.
The main parameters of the email notification function:-
Sender email
Send e-mail account.

Outgoing server (SMTP)
The sending server IP address or the sending server domain name.

Server port
The port number used by the SMTP email service. The default value is 25.

Receiver information
Receive the alarm emails and the inspection information addresses. You can configure multiple.

- Click Finish.
