Just got a SmartLogger 1000 to be able to control external loads at the install. Initially I found the following issues, though I'm just playing with it for now

1) WEB TLS1.0 Setting is initially set to enable, though you have a note stating The WebUI will restart after the setting is modified. Enabling this item will pose security risks. Not sure if everyone would go changing defaults they don't care for. Wouldn't it be better to have it set to disable and have the user change it, should they need it?

2) I might just be finding out that the smartlogger isn't compatible with the sun2000 (at least more importantly to my the usl0 version). For instance it isn't an option when adding a device (has the sun2000 and sun8000).

3) The smart meters aren't even listed as an option.

Sun2000L:
CCS-WNC-3Y-400-MB
Gavazzi-EM112DINAV01XS1X08
Gavazzi-EM340DINAV23XS1X08
Gavazzi-EM111DINAV81XS1X08

Sun2000-xkwtl-usl0:

 CHINT-DDSU666
 DDSU666-H
 DTSU666-H
 CCS-WNC-3D-240-MB
 CCS-WNC-3Y-400-MB
 Gavazzi-EM340DINAV 23XS1X
 Gavazzi-EM111DINAV 81XS1X
 Gavazzi-EM112DINAV 01XS1X

While the logger shows:

ABB A44
Acrel PZ96L
algodue UPM209
CHNT DTSU666
Elster A1800ALPHA
Janitza UMG103/UMG104/UMG604
Lead LD-C83
MingHua CRDM-830
Mitsubishi LMS-0441E
NARUN PD510
NetBiter CEWE
Other
People RM858E
Schneider PM1200
SFERE PD194Z
Socomec COUNTIS E43
Toshiba S2MS

So the only common meter is the DTSU666, so you might have to enter your parameters manually. Is there an upgrade to include the recommended (or supported) meters by the inverters?

4) Thought I saw something for a moment, but guess I'm lost in settings. How can I set an output (i.e. D0) to close when power is being exported, being produced above a certain level, have a positive balance for net metering (i.e. that the logger predicts a higher production for the month/year than will be produce a 0 balance), etc.

5) Had the unit reset a couple of times, but doesn't clear out the changes I've done. Is this a reboot rather than a reset?

Thank you for your feedback. The following are all the contents that I know. If they cannot help you, contact Huawei technical support ((https://solar.huawei.com/na/services)) for more help.
1) To ensure that the browser of an earlier version can access the SmartLogger WebUI properly, WEB TLS1.0 Setting is set to Enable. To improve security, choose Tools > Internet Options > Advanced, select Use TLS 1.1 and Use TLS 1.2, and set WEB TLS1.0 Setting to Disable on SmartLogger WebUI.
2) and 3) Currently, the SmartLogger1000 does not support the SUN2000 USL0 Version inverter and its auxiliary meters. If you have any requirements, you can send them to your dealer.
4) SmartLogger1000 has this Export Limitation function. For details, see: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100008858/24ad4ecf
5) Reset the system is only a simple restart. You can clear out the changes you've done only after the factory settings are restored.
For details about resetting the system, see the following: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100008858/e1ac1548
For details about restoring factory settings, see the following: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100008858/808a2166
6) The Local time zone parameter is unavailable for zones without DST. For details, see: https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100008858/30f8f857
7) You do not need scripts for setting DO ports. For details, see:https://support.huawei.com/enterprise/en/doc/EDOC1100008858/e8cfcb10

Hello dear
Here are some answers to your question
1)TLS1.0 is enabled by default because the browser defaults to TLS1.0, but TLS1,1 and TLS1.2 are disabled by default. If we disable TLS1.0 by default, it may affect the use of some of the smartlogger features. So we remind users.
2)We haven't had this problem yet, I suggest you can find the answer in the user manual.
3)The settings for adding a meter are not in the menu of the added device, in the menu of the meter management.
4)Set the D0 output, you can find the answer in the DO output settings in the user manual.
5)Yes, the reset option means reboot. To clear the previous settings you need to select the Clear Data option.
6)Set the time zone, you can find your own time zone on the network and add it
7)We are not allowed to control external scripts

Thanks Ming :)

a little more:

6) an option to set/display the dst parameters. Not sure which of the time zones to use

7) Tried sshing but root/Changeme didn't work. Was hoping that you can set a script or something that allows to control the digital outputs. Any docs for shell use?

No problem, but I need 1-2 days because some questions need feedback to R&D.
