Incorrect time segment in a measurement result

Latest reply: Dec 29, 2018 08:09:02 942 2 11 0 1

Issue Description:

The reported time segment of a measurement result differs from the system time of the OMU.

Possbile reason:

The probable causes of the fault are as follows:

  • The DST has been set in the system, or the system time or time zone has been changed.
  • The time of the OMU has been manually changed.

Solution :

1. On the Query page, check whether the displayed value in the Credible column is Credible in the measurement result when the time changes.

    Yes: Go to 2.

No: See Unreliable Performance Measurement Result.

2. Check whether the reported time of the measurement result contains the time zone or DST information.

Yes: No further action is required.

    No: Go to 3.

3. In the MML Command - CGP window of the client, run DSP TIME to check whether the reported time in the measurement result is the same as the OMU time.

Yes: No further action is required.

    No: Go to 4.

4. Use the Information Collection Tool to collect items in Common fault analysis scenario and item PCDR Bill in Custom Scenario.

5. Contact Huawei technical support engineers to rectify the fault.
