Incorrect Drive Letter Displayed for Software Package Path

Possible Causes

l   The Mozilla Firefox and Google Chrome browsers are used to log in to the tool. If these two browsers are used, the software package path can only be manually specified because of security compatibility issues.

l   The Include local directory path when uploading files to a server option in Security Settings of Internet Explorer is set to disabled.

Procedure

                               Step 1     Check whether Internet Explorer is used.

                               Step 2     Check the security settings of Internet Explorer.

                               Step 3     On the tool bar of Internet Explorer, choose Tools > Internet Options > Security > Custom level.

                               Step 4     In the displayed dialog box, locate Miscellaneous and set Include local directory path when uploading files to a server to Enable.

                               Step 5     On the upgrade tool page, click Browse again to select the software package.

                               Step 6     If the fault cannot be rectified, contact Huawei technical support personnel.
