Possible Causes
The primary controller on the local storage system was powered off in the process of creating a remote device.
The primary controller on the local storage system was powered off in the process of adding a link to the remote device.
Fault Diagnosis
Figure1 Troubleshooting flowchart for inconsistent number of replication links between storage systems

Procedure
1. Log in to the storage system that has more replication links than its peer storage system using DeviceManager. The information can be viewed on the Remote Devices page. Check whether the storage system has only one replication link.
If yes, go to 2.
If no, go to 3.
2. Delete the remote device, and then add the remote device again. Check whether the configurations and number of the replication links on the storage system are consistent with those on its peer storage system.
If yes, no further action is required.
If no, keep the fault environment intact and contact technical support engineers.
