When the RUN indicator on a switch is red, the temperature of the switch has exceeded the upper limit or fans of the switch have failed. S2700 switches that support power over Ethernet (PoE) also have a PWR indicator. When the PWR indicator turns red, the power module has failed.

You can run the display alarm urgent command to check whether any power alarms have been generated, run the display fan verbose command to check fan status, and run the display device command to check power module status.
