Importing VM to FusionComputeV100R006

Importing VM that is exported from FusionCompute V100R003 to Fusion Compute V100R006

 

When I export the VM it exported in VDH File and i want to import it to V100R006 but this will not support VHD extentions so i want help on how i can export the VM.

A VM template consists of one XML file and multiple VHD files.

  • XML file: provides the description information about the VM. The file name is the same as the VM template, for example, template01.xml.
  • VHD file: generated as a system file for each disk. The file name format is template name-xvddrive letter.vhd, for example, template01-xvdc.vhd.

and the conversion rates of FC R3 and R6 underlying disks are different. This will result in the virtual machine import  to FC R6 will failed. Therefore, when importing the R3 VM on a R6, you need to Modify the XML file of the R3 virtual machine,
