Fault Locating Method
1. If the IVS_DEMO is used for verification, check the error code returned on the GUI. (The error code may vary depending on the IVS_DEMO version. You are advised to locate the fault based on logs.)
The possible causes are as follows:
1) The parameter verification is invalid. The system verifies parameters such as the snapshot type, national standard ID, and message length of the uploaded image. Generally, error codes 79199002 and 2 are returned.
2) The number of images exceeds the upper limit. Check whether the number of uploaded images exceeds the upper limit. The error code 339190012 is returned.
3) The feature value fails to be parsed. When feature values are uploaded in Windows, the XML file format is incorrect. As a result, the parsing fails. The error code 109100004 is returned.
4） The device does not exist or is offline. Returns 119105288.
2. Locate the fault based on logs. Go to the container corresponding to the device and view IMGU logs in the /Log/vcn/ivs_imgu directory.
1) Set the log level to DEBUG on the CSP.
2) Check whether the IMGU receives the IVS_DC_MESSAGE_TYPE_UPLOAD_EXT_METADATA message.
Search for the message number 0x0719 in the log. The following figure shows that the IMGU receives the message. If an error occurs during the upload, search for ERR. Currently, all upload problems can be located through logs.
3) The following logs are generated in normal cases. You can view the connection code, number of uploaded images, feature value, and extended information length from the current logs.
