Hello, I will share with you how to deal with the problem that the IdeaShare projection connection fails.
Symptom
After the IdeaShare client is installed on a PC and the projection code is entered, the IdeHub fails to be connected.
Networking: Both the PC and the Ideahub are connected to the same Wi-Fi router.
Version: HUAWEI IdeaHub 21.0.RC2
Possible Causes
The network is disconnected.
The wireless projection type configured on the IdeaHub is WeLink.
Incorrect projection code.
The projection code policy is incorrectly selected.
Fault Locating
Run the ping IdeaHub command in the cmd window of the PC. The PC can ping the Ideahub, indicating that the network is normal.
Log in to the IdeaHub web page and choose System Settings > Security > Wireless Projection. The value of Type is IdeaShare. The wireless projection type is correctly set.
Open the HWTE.log file of the IdeaHub and search for error code to view the returned error code.
The returned error codes are 7 and 8 (7 indicates that the connection is interrupted, and 8 indicates that the system is abnormal), indicating that an exception occurs during the connection. The possible cause is that the projection code policy does not match the PC network connection mode.
