Scenario : IdeaHub Fixed IP Address Cannot Be Pinged or Log In to
Method introduction & Solution
After the IdeaHub applies for a fixed IP address, the IP address, subnet mask, and gateway address cannot be pinged.
Possible Causes
The applied fixed IP address expires.
Other causes such as network problems
Handling Procedure
Step 1 Check whether the fixed IP address expires. Generally, the application duration is filled in.
Step 2 Check whether the network port indicator is green. If it is not green, the network port is faulty. If it is green, go to Step 3.
Step 3 Choose Advanced Settings > WAN > Automatically obtain the IP address. If the IP address cannot be obtained, the network connection is abnormal. Log in to the web page using the built-in browser of the UI to check the network port mode.
Select 100 Mbit/s/full-duplex for the video private network.
Select Automatic detection for common office and change the detection mode to the corresponding mode.
Step 4: After the mode is changed, the IP address can be automatically obtained. If the IP address still cannot be pinged, go to Step 5.
Step 5: Connect the PC to the IdeaHub and check whether the ping operation is successful. If the ping operation is successful, the terminal is normal.
