Enabling the recording of information related to normal logout, abnormal logout, and login failure helps administrators locate and analyze problems.
You can use the following two commands to view the reason why the user dropped the line.
1.display station offline-record
2.display aaa { offline-record | abnormal-offline-record }

Checking Whether the Function of Disconnecting Weak-Signal STAs Is Configured

Context

After the function of disconnecting weak-signal STAs is enabled on an AP, the AP disconnects a STA when detecting that the STA's signal strength is lower than the threshold. If the STA associates with the AP again quickly (within 5 seconds), the AP does not record the STA offline reason, but the STA may sense its process of going offline. This function is generally applied in high-density scenarios such as stadiums to enable weak-signal STAs to quickly roam to other APs and ensure network communication quality of other STAs. It is not recommended in non-high-density scenarios.

Procedure

  1. Run the display rrm-profile all command to view the RRM profile name.

    <AC6605> display rrm-profile all
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Profile name Reference
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    huawei 2
    ------------------------------------------------------------
    Total:1

  2. Run the display rrm-profile name huawei command to check whether the function of disconnecting weak-signal STAs is configured in the RRM profile huawei.

    <AC6605> display rrm-profile name huawei
    ------------------------------------------------------------
                                ...
    Smart-roam : enable
    Smart-roam check SNR : enable
    Smart-roam standing SNR threshold(dB) : 20
    Smart-roam SNR quick-kickoff-threshold(dB) : 15
    Smart-roam check rate : disable
    AMC policy : auto-balance
    Smart-roam rate threshold(%) : 20
    Smart-roam rate quick-kickoff-threshold(%) : 20
                                ...
    ------------------------------------------------------------

If this function is configured but the current scenario is not a high-density scenario, you are advised to disable this function.

    From V200R006 to V200R008C00:
    <AC6605> system-view
    [AC6605] wlan
    [AC6605-wlan-view] rrm-profile name huawei
    [AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] undo smart-roam enable //Disable smart roaming.
[AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] undo smart-roam quick-kickoff-threshold rate //Restore the default smart roaming threshold for quickly disconnecting STAs based on rates.
[AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] undo smart-roam quick-kickoff-threshold snr //Restore the default smart roaming threshold for quickly disconnecting STAs based on SNRs.

    For V200R008C10 and later versions:
    <AC6605> system-view
    [AC6605] wlan
    [AC6605-wlan-view] rrm-profile name huawei
[AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] smart-roam quick-kickoff-threshold disable //Disable the function of quickly disconnecting STAs.
[AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] undo smart-roam quick-kickoff-threshold rate //Restore the default smart roaming threshold for quickly disconnecting STAs based on rates.
[AC6605-wlan-rrm-prof-huawei] undo smart-roam quick-kickoff-threshold snr //Restore the default smart roaming threshold for quickly disconnecting STAs based on SNRs.
