Hello,

I desperately need help have looked almost everywhere and did not find a step by step instructions on how to bridge my ONT.

I have a mesh network that keeps disconnecting and then connecting back again by itself, after contacting the mesh product customer support they told me that it's probably a double NAT issue and it's interfering with the cloud services of the mesh network.

They told me I should bridge the modem/router that my ISP provided which is the HG8245Q.

I don't have a lot of experience with network configurations and I really wish someone can help me with my issue.

Thanks in advance!

Hello, friend!

You need to create a bridge WAN, bind the LAN to the WAN, and set the VLAN value to the VLAN of the environment where you are located.

As I do not know the style of the ONT web page, I will provide two styles for your reference.

The HG8245Q supports the preceding services. If the setting fails, check whether the original configuration and setting procedure are correct.

If you are doing a test, you can try to delete the previous WAN configuration and then add it again.

Yes, you need to re-establish a connection.
