I Cannot Open a Port on HG8245Q2 at All

Hi there.


I'm trying to open a port for 25565 and I did everything I was supposed to but it says the port is closed.


Can anybody help me?

Hello, friend!


Port 25565 on the HG8245Q2 cannot be enabled in the following situations:


1. Port 25565 of the HG8245Q2 does not have the corresponding service. As a result, the configuration fails when you configure port forwarding.


2. HG8245Q2 is a carrier product and maybe it's an ISP custom product. Port 25565 is disabled or the port enabling service is disabled in the customization content. We do not have the right to know the specific customization content.


The solution to the preceding situations:

1. You need to create a service on port 25565 or forward the service to this port.

2. Contact the device provider or ISP to check whether the device is a customized product and provide a solution.
