I can’t upgrade my AC6605

What problems have you encountered during the upgrade?

Hi,

1. Please confirm if you have a valid service contract to download and access the upgraded version
2. Do you have enough space in WLC to get the newer image to boot from in next iteration
3. You have required permissions to upgrade the WLC
4. Make sure that your downloaded image file is correct and is downloaded completely.
5. Upgrade control blocks are full or downloaded, and the number of APs has reached the maximum number of FTP connections.


When AC mode is upgraded, a control block will be applied for each AP to control the process of AP upgrade. If the current control block has reached 32, then the AP to be upgraded will be set as failed.

When upgrading FTP or SFTP mode, if the number of downloaded APs has reached the maximum number of connections, the upgraded APs will also be set as failed.

6. FTP configurations are correct.
7. Network transmission capacity is enough to perform the maximum transferable time range

Hello,

1. ensure the FTP server is working , and also ensure that the upgrade software package and configuration file
have been saved to the FTP directory.
2. check whether the Software version is compatible with the Access controller
3. Make sure the Software file is not corrupted.
4. before upgrading the software the file must keep in flash, check if enough space is available or not.
