Huwei HG8245W5 cant access to FTP (USB pendrive) from my Mac

Hi there,


I've been trying to connect to my USB on my router from my mac, but has been impossible.

Those are my setups.. then, when I try to access to ftp://192.168.100.1 or smb://192.168.100.1 im not able to see enter. Just have this popug, I tried by guest, or by user name and pass but with no success.

Can somebody help me? Weird thing is if I open my VLC player from my smartphone I can actually see the movies I have on the pendrive. But from my smartphone, when I try to connect to the same FTP, its not possible.

Dear user, hope below link can help u:

Click Advanced Configuration > Application tab, and choose USB Application in the navigation tree on the left. In the pane on the right, set the parameters related to FTP downloading to share the FTP file of the ONT.

NOTE:

FTP server configuration supports only English.

The file time of an ONT is in the UNIX format. In Windows OS, the file time displayed may be different from the actual time for FTP access.

This actually worked for me. Now I can see and connect to de USB from my mac.

I need to upload files to that USB from my mac! Please help!

Hello, friend!
You need to use the FTP access tool on the PC to transfer files to the USB port of the ONT.
