HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hi, I just bought a Huawei ws5200 v2 router but I'm not able to connect to 5ghz on my mobile because of the channel. Is there any way to unlock more channels? Thank you!

Hi, friend!

If the Wi-Fi names for 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz are the same by default, you will automatically connect to a faster Wi-Fi network.

If you only want to use 5 GHz Wi-Fi, you can disable the Priority 2.4 GHz feature by performing the following steps:

1) Connect your phone to the router's Wi-Fi network.

2) Enter 192.168.3.1 in your browser address bar and follow the onscreen instructions to log in.

3) Select My Wi-Fi and disable Prioritize 2.4 GHz.

You will now be able to find two Wi-Fi network names. Connect to the Wi-Fi network with "_5G" at the end of its name.

Thanks!

Hello, I suggest you try this method.

  1. Enter 192.168.3.1 in the browser to open the setting page .

  2. The administrator password for logging in has been set before. If you use it for the first time, you need to set one.

  3.  In the relevant Settings interface, find the function "5G Preferred". If enabled, it will merge the 5GWi-Fi signal and 2.4GWi-Fi signal into one. To set up a separate 5Gwi-fi signal, turn off the 5G Preferences feature.

I hope I can help you.

:)
