Dear Community,

My home access point (Linksys RE6400) is connected to the STC-HUAWEI HG8245Q router using an Ethernet cable. Now my AP signal can't reach all corners of my house.

I want to use Huawei WIFI AX3 (quad-core) for Wi-Fi expansion, connect the HG8245Q to the WAN port of the WIFI AX3 and use it as a local AP/router. Does this support this? Now all my devices use the DHCP service of the HG8245Q router. Please tell me how to set it up?

The routing mode is set for the HG8245Q2, and the bridging mode is set for the AX3.

HG8245Q2:

Login HG8245Q2 WebUI.

In the navigation tree on the left, choose WAN > WAN Configuration. In the dialog box that is displayed, set Mode to Route WAN.

The following figure shows the configuration of the AX3.
