Dear Friend!
For Huawei ONTs with Wi-Fi functions, perform the following steps:
1. Power off and restart the ONT. Then try to connect to Wi-Fi again.
2. Visit your service provider's official website using a network cable for a speed test. If the network speed is still low, there is a problem with the network and you are advised to contact the service provider.
3. Check the Wi-Fi signal strength on your terminal. If the signal strength is weak, you may be far away from the signal source or an obstacle exists, and you are advised to get closer to the ONT.
4. If multiple terminals are connected to the Wi-Fi network, bandwidths are shared and the speed is low. Check whether you are running bandwidth-hungry services such as download and game services. If yes, disable these services and then access the Internet.
5. Get far away from Wi-Fi signal interference sources such as microwave ovens and cordless phones.
6. Change the Wi-Fi password (with reference to section :What do I do if I forget the Wi-Fi password of Huawei ONT) to prevent the network speed from being slowed down by rogue devices.
