HiCoins as reward: 0 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

we're looking for new core and distribution switches for our routed access design. Currently we're using HPE switches running H3C Comware OS. So If it was HPE, we'd buy 5710 switches for core and distribution.

Now someone proposed Huawei switches (6720/6730) . Looking at the current CLI, those switches still seem to share a lot of commands with H3C (Huawei 3Com) from past. It seems Huawei sells licenses for activating ~full layer3 features...

Is anyone from here actually using current Hu routerlogin awei devices and can tell about his/her e 192.168.l.lxperience with the switches themselves or Huawei's support?

Hi,

I am Huawei User. we use Huawei CE 6800 and CE5800 Series switches for data center and access switches. we are using them for the last 5 years.

first thing, so far we never faced any issues. commands are easy to remember and it is great GUI features also.

most reliable switches and easy to manage. their support is also great. every country they have a site engineer in case if visit is required. and online support is really great. I contacted them for applying patches and software updates. they did their best to support me.
