Guide to Collecting Information for Expansion of Huawei Storage Devices in European Regions
(OceanStor V3 is used as an example)
1 Overview
As storage capacity expansion is a high-risk operation and involves production services, Huawei recommends risk evaluation and solution support prior to capacity expansion in order to avoid service interruption due to mis-operation etc. This document describes how to collect the required information before the Huawei storage capacity expansion. Huawei technical support will evaluate the correctness of the expansion solution and current working status of the Huawei storage to ensure the success of capacity expansion. It is applicable to Europe as well as other countries and regions including Australia, Japan, Middle East, and North America.
