Question

Why are services interrupted when the reboot command is executed to restart one controller of NetApp FAS8000 storage system?

Answer

When service loads exist, the reboot command is executed to restart one controller of NetApp FAS8000 storage system. Although the local storage system is still connected to the other controller of NetAppFAS8000 storage system, NetAppFAS8000 storage system does not support failover in this scenario. As a result, services are interrupted.
