Huawei S1720-52GWR-PWR-4P lost web password help

Hi there, i am managing this switch for my new workplace and it has a password on the web login that they forgotten or do not know what it is. i've tried resetting the switch with reset button but its not going back to default.


the switch has no CLI port and telnet/ssh to the ip is not working.


How do i reset the password ?

Hi friend!

You can refer to S Series Switches Default Usernames and Passwords

The reset button does not work, indicating that there is a problem with the hardware, it is recommended that you replace the switch.

Yes, just hold down the Reset button for at least 6 seconds.
