HiCoins as reward: 1 (problem unresolved)

Hello,

I've got an Huawei B593 LTE Router.

SN: N4Y5TB9281601661

Hardware version: Ver.B

Software version: V100R001C1064SP050

The connection now has 1 line. I have an external antenna that I want to put instead of one it has.

I've seen that for the B593s is an menu on the firmware that permits to select external antenna.

There is also for this version ?

How can I convince the router that it has an external antenna attached ?

Hi, friend!

Firstly, log in to the B593 via the default maintenance IP address (192.168.1.1). After that, select System --> Antenna Settings --> External, then click Submit. It is shown in the following figure:

Of course, you need to install the external antenna that matches the required functions before the configuration. It is shown in the following figure:

This way the router has attached an external antenna which is effective.

Hello,

To have better signal and high data transmission, it’s necessary to use 4G LTE External antenna for HUAWEI B593. But there is no setting in HUAWEI B593 4G LTE CPE. It could enhance the signal invisibly.

The menu above is not from the B593 router. I have a B593 router with external antennas and there is no selection for external or internal antennas.

Also the setting for manual selection of network to not to switch back to automatic selection of network does not work as expected. When the signal is lost the router swith to roaming network even when i selected to stay on the manually registed network. This is very frustrating.

Below is the menu on my B593 router, Hardware version B, Software version V100R001C1064SP050
