Huawei redirects packets to itself

ISSUE DESCRIPTION


I have the following Huawei wireless router:

Device name:    E5330Bs-2
IMEI:   865706028023246
IMSI :  250998209933021
My number:  Unknown
Hardware version:   CH1E5330SM
Software version:   21.210.17.00.778
Web UI version: 17.100.05.00.778

From some moment (it wasn't always that), the router starts sometimes to redirect any request to itself. For example:

olga@olgacomp:~$ ping google.com
PING google.com (192.168.8.1) 56(84) bytes of data.
64 bytes from www.huaweimobilewifi.com (192.168.8.1): icmp_seq=1 ttl=64  time=1.67 ms
64 bytes from www.huaweimobilewifi.com (192.168.8.1): icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=3.32 ms
64 bytes from www.huaweimobilewifi.com (192.168.8.1): icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=1.86 ms


After I reset, the problem is solved until the next time it appears. On the admin page, while I 'Check for update', I get:

This version is up-to-date.
