Hello everyone, I want to share with you the types of ONT Huawei. I hope you find it useful.
Huawei ONTs are classified into the following types based on their functions: Bridge ONTs, Gateway ONTs, and 10G PON ONTs.
Bridge ONTs
A bridge ONT is only responsible for transparent transmission and provides users with Internet access and IPTV channels. You can access the Internet only after successfully dialing up on your devices such as a router or PC. Some bridge ONTs also support the voice function and can be connected to telephones.
You can enjoy Wi-Fi after connecting a wireless router to a bridge ONT.

Gateway ONTs
Unlike a bridge ONT, a gateway ONT can automatically allocate IP addresses for routing, and you do not need to dial-up to connect to the Internet. Some gateway ONTs also provide dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz) to support wireless access.

10G PON ONTs
The user-side rate of a 10G PON ONT can reach up to 1000 Mbit/s, meeting requirements of home users on bandwidth-hungry services such as 4K/8K HD video, AR/VR, home cloud, and video calls. It can also provide private line access services of up to 10 Gbit/s.

EchoLife HN8255Ws, Huawei OptiXstar HN8145X6v, EchoLife HN8145V5
For a new network deployment, I prefer a built-in router function but if it is a migration of copper network clients I would use the bridges to reuse the xDSL routers of course if they are vdsl they must have a wan ethernet port and not only through the sale y interface pair.
That's it, I welcome everyone to leave a message and exchange in the comment area!
Thanks!
