Hello, everyone!
Today, I will continue to share my knowledge about Huawei ONT device buttons.

Device Buttons
Device buttons are an important part of an ONT. A Huawei ONT has the following buttons: power switch, WLAN button, WPS button, light button, and reset button. The buttons are usually provided on a side of an ONT, as shown in the following figure.

| No. | Button | Description |
| 1 | WLAN | -When the WLAN is disabled, press the WLAN button (> 3s) and release the button to enable the WLAN. -When the WLAN is enabled, press the WLAN button (> 3s) and release the button to disable the WLAN. |
| 2 | WPS | When the WLAN is on, press the WPS button (> 3s) and release the button to start the Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS) negotiation. |
| 3 | Light | It is used to turn on/off indicators. - On: Indicators can be lit properly. - Off: Indicators are off. |
| 4 | WLAN WPS | -When the wireless function (WLAN) is enabled, press the WLAN/WPS switch for 1s to 5s to start Wi-Fi protected setup (WPS) negotiation. - When the wireless function (WLAN) is enabled, press, and hold the button WLAN/WPS switch for more than 5s to turn off the wireless function (WLAN). - When the wireless function (WLAN) is disabled, tap the WLAN/WPS switch for more than 1s to turn on the wireless function (WLAN). Note: If the WLAN indicator is steady on or blinks, the wireless function is enabled. If the WLAN indicator is off, the wireless function is disabled. |
| 5 | Reset | Press the button for a short time to reset the device, or press the button for a long time (longer than 10s) to restore the device to the default settings and reset the device. Note: Exercise caution when pressing the reset button. A reset may cause a loss of some ONT configuration information and further cause an Internet access failure. |
| 6 | ON/OFF | It is used to power on/off an ONT. |
That's all for today's basic knowledge sharing.
