Huawei Mate 10 Pro software update issue

I have a Huawei Mate 10 Pro. I receive a notification that there is a software update available. When I download and install the update everything seems fine and the phone acknowledges that the update has been installed. However the notification for the same update then keeps on appearing. The phone says an unauthorized change to system files were made and to revert to the original. And then the cycle continues as described above. Any advise?
