Huawei HG8245Q2 WAN Configuration

Hi, there.


I would like to edit some settings in the WAN  configuration setting but it won't let me edit anything as there are no options? I have read I may need to sign in as a maintenance user but can't find the username or password? Can anyone help?

Dear Froid! 

Please confirm the purchase channel. 

If the product is purchased from a formal enterprise network channel: 

Administrator (installation and maintenance personnel): 

User name: telecomadmin 

Password: admintelecom 

Common user (terminal user):

User name: root

Password: adminHW 

If the product is purchased from a formal carrier channel, 

Certain carriers may customize accounts and passwords, which are different from the default accounts and passwords listed in the preceding.:  For details, contact the corresponding carrier. 

If you purchase the product from other channels, contact the device supplier to obtain the password. 

If you need to configure the manual, please provide your email address.

That video wasn’t on the link you provided and it doesn’t even play for some reason? Also I’m not trying to adjust the WiFi configuration.

Greetings,
Latest ONU's releases have 2 levels of login:
- user: root password: admin, for home users
- user: telecomadmin password: admintelecom, reserved for expert use.

Be aware that sometimes Carriers customize the firmware in order to prevent home users to access expert mode, so this password may not work for your case.
